Upon his arrival at the ceremony venue at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, Prince Faisal was received by Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh, and Engineer Fahd Al-Baddah, CEO of the Infrastructure Projects Center in the region.

Prince Faisal emphasized that these efforts come as a result of the support and directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may Allah protect them. He also highlighted the significant efforts made in developing the master plan.

His Highness stated: "Undoubtedly, this initiative is both modern and beneficial. Its foundation was laid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques—may Allah support him—during his tenure as Governor of Riyadh. It enhances spending efficiency and preserves the city's beauty by avoiding the randomness that often accompanies project implementation."

The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, followed by a speech from the Mayor of Riyadh and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Infrastructure Projects Center, in which he emphasized that this master plan represents a transformative organizational and urban shift for the region. It will serve as a comprehensive framework for all infrastructure projects in the area.

He explained that the master plan will eliminate randomness, individual approaches, and the lack of coordination between entities, ushering in a new phase characterized by integration, proactive planning, and systematic execution. This will enhance services provided to residents and visitors while establishing a strategic and comprehensive infrastructure methodology that aligns with Riyadh’s vision as a sustainable, investment-friendly city leading urban development in the Kingdom.

Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf further noted that this achievement stems from the unwavering support of the wise leadership across various sectors. He added that this support has transformed the once-aspirational idea of the Infrastructure Projects Center into a tangible reality, as evidenced by the unveiling of this significant milestone.

Following this, Engineer Fahd Al-Baddah, CEO of the Infrastructure Projects Center, delivered a speech in which he highlighted that the master plan is the result of a distinguished national collaboration. It has been developed using advanced engineering methodologies, joint task forces, and artificial intelligence, making it a launchpad for achieving Saudi Vision 2030 while ensuring the sustainability and adaptability of projects to future changes.

He pointed out that the Detailed Master Plan for Infrastructure Projects is one of the region’s key projects. It aims to harmonize infrastructure works and enhance quality of life by meeting the aspirations of Riyadh’s residents and visitors, in alignment with the vision of the Kingdom’s leadership.

Subsequently, Prince Faisal bin Bandar and the attendees watched a visual presentation on the master plan. His Highness then officially inaugurated the plan and honored the center’s partners.

It is worth mentioning that the Detailed Master Plan for Infrastructure Projects 2025 seeks to coordinate infrastructure projects across the region to ensure their sustainability and efficient execution. The plan plays a crucial role in improving project implementation quality and reducing disruptions for Riyadh’s residents, particularly those caused by repeated excavation work.
