The Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center has announced the start of actual monitoring of infrastructure projects within Riyadh city, a step that is part of the center's efforts to ensure the application of the highest standards of quality and safety in all infrastructure projects in the region. The center explained that these monitoring activities would gradually expand to cover all neighborhoods of Riyadh city, before extending to all the provinces of the Riyadh region, reaffirming its commitment to achieving sustainable development and enhancing the efficiency of the infrastructure on a wide scale.
This announcement follows the center's issuance of a set of controls for monitoring, compliance, and licensing for infrastructure projects, which had been previously revealed as part of the center's efforts to enhance transparency, environmental compliance, and safety requirements in all projects.
In this context, the center organized several training workshops targeted at service entities and their contractors, aiming to raise awareness of the new controls and encourage the effective application of best practices in infrastructure.
